A couple of weeks ago we wrote that Intel is preparing to debut its new solid-state SSD-drives on the 1st of April.
New items are made in two form factor: expansion card HHHL AIC (Half Height Half Length Add-in Card) interface PCI-Express 3.0 x4 and 2.5 "Interface SATA Express (aka SFF-8639). Protocol work - NVMe. Altogether there are 2 volume: 400 GB and 1.2 TB.
Declared linear reading is 2200 and 2400 MB / s, the linear recording - up to 1200 MB / s. The performance Level for random read 4K blocks volume reaches 430 and 440,000 IOPS, and recording - 230 and 290,000 IOPS.
At the heart of drives are made by Intel controller and 20-nm flash memory MLC NAND with a density of 128 Gb on the crystal.
Warranty resource, despite three times the difference in volumes, set the same: the volume recording should not exceed 70 GB of data on a daily basis for five years.
Prices were slightly lower: 400 GB set a price tag of $ 389, and 1.2 TB - $ 1029. Related Products :
