During January will appear two integrated chipset : RS780 from AMD and MCP78 from NVIDIA. These chipset not only ensure DirectX 10 support, but also will present Hybrid CrossFire and Hybrid SLI technologies. The chipset GeForce 9200 (MCP78U) possesses high heat emission level which regular passive radiator on thermal tube can not manage . It is necessary to use either a more productive passive radiator or to pass to the active cooling with fan. This will increase the cost of motherboard on base of MCP78U. As far as chipset GeForce 8200 (MCP78S) is concerned, it occurs to be 15-20% slower than RS780 in 3DMark'05 and 3DMark'06. The deliveries of motherboard on base of RS780 can begin on 23 January, 2008, everything is already prepared to the announcement. | ||
