Asus has released the motherboard Maximus VIII Hero Alpha, which refers to the range of gaming products Republic of Gamers (ROG). This motherboard has a processor socket LGA 1151 and is based on chipset Intel Z170.
Connectors called RGB_Header have four pins, and they are located at the bottom edge of the board. These tapes can be connected with an operating voltage of 12 V and a length of several meters, but the maximum brightness is ensured by the length of two meters. Novelty is equipped with a special controller that allows you to use Windows-based applications to manage color LED strips, as well as the illumination mode.
