Earlier this month, Intel has recognized that in its processors Skylake there is an error that can cause the system to hang at high computational load. Intel has promised that for this issue need only to update the motherboard BIOS.
And ASRock company today announced the required update for BIOS on motherboard chipset Intel 100 Series. The new BIOS version is already available for download on the official website of the manufacturer.
Recall that error led the system to hang when the program Prime95 on systems running Windows and Linux, and does not depend on the motherboard, memory or other hardware equipment. It is also assumed that the error may appear when working with other resource-intensive programs.
