Intel company at the event Game Developers Conference 2016 has introduced a new compact system called NUC Skull Canyon (NUC6i7KYK). The technology, according to the manufacturer, is the most powerful representative of Intel NUC lineup.
As a base of Intel NUC6i7KYK compact computer acts as the processor Intel Core i7-6770HQ (Skylake), who works at a frequency of 2.6 to 3.5 GHz, it has a TDP of 45 watts and is equipped with integrated graphics Iris Pro 580 and 128 MB of cache memory eDRAM. Note that the system interface supports Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb / s, USB port 3.1 Type-C), which allow to connect external video card, for example, by Razer Core . Also, the new mini-computer allows the use of DDR4 memory, up to 32 GB, and up to two M.2 solid-state drives with SATA interface and PCI Express.
Intel NUC Skull Canyon is equipped with Intel 8260 adapter, which provides a wireless connection Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2. Also mini-PC has four ports USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet port, one video output HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, memory card slot and headphone jack. Skull Canyon Dimensions are 216 x 116 x 23 mm .
