Drives SanDisk Z410 are made in the standard form factor of 2.5 "to 7 mm, equipped with interface SATA3 and exist in three versions volume of 120, 240 and 480 GB. The linear read speed is the same for all three volumes and 535 MB / s. The speed of the linear recording contains equal to 410 MB / s (120 GB), 440 MB / s (240 GB) and 445 MB (480 GB). for operations with smaller blocks (4KB) performance (read / write) declared equal 36000/54000 IOPS for the 120GB, 36,000 / 66000 for 240 GB and 370000/68000 IOPS to 480 GB.
Apparently, the new product is aimed at replacing the existing series Z400s , based on the hardware platform, combining the controller Silicon Motion SM2246XT and 15-nm MLC NAND own production SanDisk. Here again, as in the past, SanDisk does not want to sound technical specifications in full: the documentation says only about the use of 15-nm TLC NAND, and the high speed write operations explained pSLC implementation mode.
But in fact the circle of hardware platforms that correspond to these specifications, is small: it is a Marvell 88SS1074 (which was founded recently we tested Plextor M7V), Silicon Motion SM2256K (ADATA Premier SP550) or SM2256G (Crucial BX200).
Formally SanDsk Z410s positioned as an OEM-solution for collectors of ready systems, which, however, for accounting of past generations SSD SanDisk, obviously does not prevent it to appear in retail.
