Our colleagues from the German site PCGamesHardware introduced the first synthetic tests of the latest graphic superprocessor by NVIDIA GP100. Testing was conducted using the benchmark version of AMBER 16 (Assisted Model Building with Energy Refinement). This is a program for calculating simulate the behavior of biomolecules. The best result is measured in a "nanosecond per day." Testing can demonstrate the capabilities of the GPU in isolation from the processor and chipset - clean graphics "energy." The program is written in collaboration with NVIDIA CUDA and supported libraries.
