The annual report on Form 10-K forces companies to talk about the factors that make them vulnerable. Among them there may be not only uncertainty about the competitiveness of their products, but also links to the unreliability of counterparties, and in the case of AMD - also excessive dependence on several large customers. AMD components . In the annual report, the company admitted that last year its aggregate revenue by 59% was formed by three major customers: Microsoft, Sony and HP Inc. The latter in this list came in as a consumer of the Computing and Graphics segment: CPUs and graphics solutions.
Moreover, AMD even bared the statistics on the share of revenue generated by HP Inc. As can be seen from the table, in 2016 it did not exceed 10%.
It is interesting that one of the manufacturers of gaming consoles in the past year almost twice as high as the other by the share of AMD revenue. There are no specific names for the company, but there are only two options: it's either Microsoft or Sony. Related Products :
