Logitech has unveiled at IFA 2016 a new range of gaming peripherals called Prodigy. Currently, the line includes two versions of mouse G403 Prodigy, Keyboard G213 Prodigy, and Headset G231 Prodigy.
Mouse Logitech G403 Prodigy is available in a version only with a wired connection, and in the version with both wired and wireless connectivity. Wireless model is heavier and weighs 107.2 grams, while the weight of the wire model is equal to 87.3 g . Both mouse have six programmable buttons, curved shape ensures comfortable use, and rubber grip provide a reliable grip.
The G403 Prodigy is based on an optical sensor PixArt PMW3366, whose resolution can vary from 200 to 12,000 dpi. For new items stated in the 40g maximum acceleration, maximum speed of 7.62 m / s, and USB sample rate of 1 ms. Also, the manufacturer emphasizes the excellent responsiveness of the mouse buttons. For manipulator work meets the 32-bit ARM processor, which is complemented by built-in memory to store settings buttons. Dimensions new items are 124 x 68 x 43 mm.
Logitech G213 Prodigy positioned as a budget gaming keyboard membrane. According to the manufacturer, thanks to the special design of the keys, the response speed of the new items is four times higher, compared to other similar solutions. Also G213 Prodigy has a comfortable palm rest, and buttons to control multimedia functions. Connected via the new USB-cable, 1.8 m long.
Finally, Headset G231 Prodigy was presented. It is built on a 40-mm speakers with neodymium magnets, and is able to reproduce the sound in the frequency range from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. There is also a folding unidirectional microphone and controls on the cable.
