MediaTek company has introduced two new mobile processor, who joined the series Helio. Helio X23 and Helio X27, which are updated versions of the chips Helio X20 and Helio X25 respectively.
Single chip platform MediaTek Helio X23 and Helio X27 will be made on 20-nanometer processor technology. They consist of ten cores, divided into three clusters. One cluster includes two core Cortex-A72, the other - four core Cortex-A53, and the third - another four core Cortex-A53, but with a lower clock speed. The role of the built-in graphics accelerator performs Mali-T880MP4.
Clock frequency Helio X27 is 2.6 GHz, whereas Helio X25 operates at a clock frequency of 2.5 GHz. Maximum operating frequency Helio X23 reaches 2.3 GHz versus 2.1 GHz at Helio X20.
Helio X23 and Helio X27 support popular today among manufacturers of smartphones dual cameras. Also the new processors implemented technology MiraVision EnergySmart Screen, which allows to save up to 25% of energy by changing the display settings according to the ambient light.
The first smartphones based on Helio X23 and Helio X27 will appear in the near future.
