The Japanese company Scythe has introduced the fifth version of its CPU air cooling system Mugen. According to the manufacturer, the new version, called simply Mugen 5, received a number of improvements, and is able to offer an even higher performance level than its predecessor.
Mugen 5 cooling system includes a very large heatsink made of aluminum plates, which permeates the six U-shaped nickel-plated copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. The heat pipes pass through a nickel-plated copper base.
For blowing Mugen 5 cooling radiator is responsible 120mm fan Kaze Flex, which is built on the hydrodynamic bearing and supports the speed control by PWM. The fan rotation speed 300 to 1200 r / min, creating airflow in the 16.6 - 51.17 CFM (28,2 - 86.93 cubic meters / hr) and the noise level in this case is in the range of 4 to 24.9 dBA. Note that on the back side of the radiator can be fixed another 120-mm fan.
The cooling system is compatible with all current CPU sockets, including Intel LGA 2011 (-3) and LGA 115x and AMD Socket AM3 (+) and FM2 (+). Cooling Scythe Mugen 5 has already appeared for sale on the European market at an estimated price of 40 euros. Related Products :
