Taiwanese company Asus loses interest in tablets, preferring to pay more attention to smartphones and virtual reality devices. Nevertheless, now it is preparing for the release of a new tablet. It is tested in the popular benchmark GFXBench, so we know its main technical characteristics.
As reported by PhoneArena , the heart of the new Asus tablet was the MediaTek MT8173 processor with a clock speed of 2.1 GHz, supplemented by a graphics controller PowerVR GX6250. One of its main features will be a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The amount of RAM of the new tablet is 4 GB, and the capacity of the built-in drive is 64 GB. It also has two cameras: a 7-megapixel main and a 4.7-megapixel front. Tablet is running the mobile OS Android 7.0 Nougat.
