It was considered that CUDA architecture from NVIDIA was created in contrast the multi-core processors. In order to poof the merits of its graphic chips  ,NVIDIA recently published a comparison with intel processors . For example, the leader of NVIDIA scientific developments  David Kirk reported some interesting facts about the special features in the development of software for CUDA architecture . Let us note,  that Mr. Kirk promised to present in the near future products with doubled floating-point calculations speed   . Talking about AMD video card and CUDA Mr. Kirk reported  the following… AMD Video chip not supports the function for distributions of data between threads, but when corresponding video chips AMD will appear , NVIDIA will be able to adapt program infrastructure CUDA to work with AMD video chip . Applications optimized under CUDA are well scaled also using multicore processors. Nevertheless, if the program was written under CUDA, multi core processor will execute it faster than programs, originally written for classical processors. Thus, NVIDIA considers possible the appearance of programs with CUDA optimization  , which would redistribute loads between multi-core processors and graphical solutions. Talking about NVIDIA hybrid processors . David Kirk explains , such processors are appropriate only in the budgetary segment, and the special-purpose solutions are necessary for productive segment.
