Due to The need for passage to another platform (LGA 775 - > LGA 1366) , bloomfield processors cannot compose strong competition to core 2 Quad processors , which are ready to work in the majority of up-to-date motherboards with LGA 775 socket. Bloomfield will require a sufficiently expensive motherboards with LGA 1366, and also three memory banks . All these factors increase the cost of bloomfield system.
