The motherboard biostar TPower P45 on base of Intel p45 chipset already achieved a success in the system bus overclock. Without special mods user could attain up to 630 MHz (FSB Frequency). However, on XtremeSystems site , one overclocker achieved in this motherboard the system bus frequency 725 MHz. This 25 MHz higher than the previous officially registered world record. In this case voltage on memory and northbridge chip was increased by 0.7 v, and liquid nitrogen was used. Note that this configuration could also overclock the processor up to 6009 MHz; therefore the ability to reach high FSB frequency is not the only merit of this motherboard. | ||
