Associate reported that havendale processors will have a two-chip layout: on one crystal will be placed two processor core with 4 MB divided cache in the third level and QPI bus controller , while on the second crystal will be placed the graphic core and majority of controllers . The dual-channel memory controller  , graphic core, the bus , PCI express 2.0 and DMI controllers - will be placed in this crystal inside the processor. For  connection between the two crystals will be used (supposedly) the QPI bus; therefore on the second crystal the corresponding controller will be also available. The interfaces controller for displays connection will be placed in the chipset, and the processor will be connected on FDI interface .  associates assume that Intel processors with the built-in graphic core will not find monolithic layout up to the release of 32 nm processors sandy bridge generation  , which is planned for the end of 2010 or in the beginning of 2011.
