Intel directors , Craig Barrett , in interview with our associate described about the company plans under the crisis conditions  In the opinion of Intel management  , the crisis of American economy will negatively affect the developing markets, where the company in recent years realizes the substantial part of its production. However, Intel is not assembled to reject financing scientific technical developments and investment in technical production reequipping  . Let us note that from those rescued in the past year $38,3 billion , Intel company spent on R & D approximately $5,8 billion, and $5 billion were inserted in the modernization of equipment and factories building  . Thus, the company expends more than fourth of its gain on studies and technologies modernization  . Intel also reserved for the black day 10 billion which will help the company to survive the crisis period. Simultaneously Intel sees in the crisis situation the possibility to acquire the unexpectedly fallen in price companies, whose profile would allow to strengthen its positions on the market : The telecommunication solutions for mobile devices, economical chips for palmtops, electronic components for medical equipment . We hope that the financial crisis will not serve as reinforcing means of Intel monopoly in separate market segments. Related Products :
