During July this year RAMBUS company already pursued NVIDIA for the disturbance of 17 patents, which belong to the first companies. RAMBUS possess rights to the intellectual property in memory controllers device sphere , in the opinion of plaintiff, those rights were disrupted BY NVIDIA for several years.
RAMBUS company stated this week that it plan to make a new complaint in American court for international trade with the call to put a ban on import and sale in USA for all NVIDIA products , which disrupt nine RAMBUS patents . In the list of problematic products there are graphic chips and chipset using memories controllers with DDR, DDR2, DDR3, LPDDR, GDDR, GDDR2 and GDDR3 support. RAMBUS is intended to call the responsibility of NVIDIA partners , who extend those solutions in the territory OF USA. In the number of those companies we have Asustek computer inc. and Asus computer international, BFG technologies, Biostar microtech and Biostar microtech international corp ; Diablotek inc ; EVGA corp ; G.B.T. Inc. and Giga-Byte technology Co ; Hewlett-Packard, MSI computer corp. and Micro-Star international Co ; Palit multimedia inc. and Palit microsystems ltd ; Pine technology holdings and Sparkle computer Co. RAMBUS representatives consider these actions as necessary for the protection of company interests and her shareholders. Court for international trade IN USA has the right to begin investigation on this complaint during 30 days. | ||
