Intel company already demonstrated the kill pill technology in action. Idea consists in the remote access blocking of stored data by the removal of key, known only by the legal notebook owner . This technology requires the notebook to be connected to the Internet (which is far from being always true). Lenovo company decided to inject similar technology constant secure remote disable (CSRD) on a part of its notebook thinkPad, which relate to the newest generation : platform Centrino 2, and released after January .
