Intel company as before tries to fence on traditional notebook . As we already know, to Intel partners are forbidden to create notebooks with a screen diagonal more than 10.2 inches. The hardware configuration of many notebooks does not allow them to work with Windows vista, but situation can change with the arrival of Windows 7 operating system.
As explains associate with the reference to official Microsoft information, this operating systems developer recommends creating notebooks with the following configuration:
- Maximum storage capacity: 16 GB SSD or 160 GB hard disk.
- Graphic system with API support not higher than DirectX 9.0.
- Memory volume not more than 1 GB.
- Only single core processors with frequency not above 1 GHz, or processors from the following models: Atom n270, N230, Z500, Z510, Z520, Z530, Z540; AMD Of geode LX, athlon 2650e, sempron 210U; VIA C 7 M.
- Screen with diagonal is not more than 10.2 inches or 14.1 inches (for large notebooks).
