The growing market for solid-state disks (SSD) attracts all new players. If some are limited to the use of strange production with their own logotype, then others seriously study the production activity. For example, Toshiba company no longer desires to be satisfied by the title of second largest microcircuits producer of flash- memory NAND, and to 2011 it is going to increase the volumes of SSD production by 15 times in order to engage up to 30% of the market to the end of March 2011.
For the realization of this purpose Toshiba transfer SSD production in Philippines, where in the second quarter the production of solid-state disk on base of 43 nm memory will be fixed by volume from 64 to 512 Gb. This step will allow the company to decrease expenses and to increase the production volumes . Which is characteristic, Toshiba is not assembled to reject also classical HDD Related Products :
