AMD company will present soon products on base of 55 nm RV790 chip. Less productive products on base of 40 nm RV740 chip will appear later, to the end of second quarter. According to associate AMD company prepared the announcement of new cards with sufficient reserves of RV790 and RV740 video chips. If during January and February AMD ordered from TSMC and UMC only of 2 000 silicic plates with video chips, then during March this quantity was increased to four- five thousand plates. During April the orders volume will rise to thousands of plates, while during May and June it will reach 10 000 silicic plates per month. In the second quarter TSMC and UMC can release 30 000 silicic plates  300 mm, which contain AMD video chips. This increase in the production volumes will allow TSMC and UMC in the second quarter to raise the equipment workload level  to 60-70%. Related Products :
