According to NEC company forecasts , prior to the end of this year on the market will appear computers with USB 3.0 support . Cables for device connection with USB 3.0 interface have been already demonstrated by Japanese stores, and recently they were put on the market. The sequential step on USB 3.0 introduction for the market , are the controllers models with the support of this interface. One model has the interface PCI express x1 interface, which proposes to place two USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel. This card uses a four-pin power molex for supplying additional power. Like all analogous controllers, it is built on NEC production chip . The second USB 3.0 controller model has the interface xpressCard/34, it is intended for installation in laptop computers. To user are proposed all the same two USB 3.0 ports, external power in this case is made through the appropriate power unit. According to the producer, the USB 3.0 interface ensures up to 80% of serial ATA interface capacity. USB 3.0 Controllers will be soon put on the market, in 2011, they will be prescribed in the motherboards south bridges , and the first discrete controllers will be integrated to the motherboard already in this autumn. | ||
