ASRock company  yesterday presented four motherboards on base of Intel p55 chipset , intended for LGA 1156 processors : three motherboard form factor ATX and one compact model micro ATX. Let us examine the characteristics of those motherboards in more detail. The high end version became ASRock p55 deluxe. It uses the advanced power-supply system (Advanced v16). For guaranteeing the effective chipset cooling and processor power system, there is a massive radiator with heat pipes. Like the junior alternative, this motherboard support Intel turbo boost monitor, which allows to operationally track the work of Intel turbo boost technology. ASRock p55 deluxe and ASRock p55 extreme are equipped with 4 slot DDR-3 memory  (it supports overclock up to DDR3-2600+), there are three slots PCI express x16, which ensure compatibility with crossFireX and SLI technologies  . In turn,  ASRock p55 pro use two slots PCI express x16, this motherboard is compatible with CrossFireX. All three motherboards are supplied with the complex smart switch design, which includes the power switch, Reset switch and Clear CMOS switch buttons , and also LCD- screen (Dr. Debug), which will help to operationally conduct system diagnostics  . ASRock P55M pro occupies a special position : this motherboard has the form factor micro ATX with crossFireX support. It has a unique special feature :  support the technology C.C.O. (Combo cooler option). The company engineers allow to use both a new cooler for LGA 1156 and classical  LGA 775. The motherboard aSRock p55 deluxe and Extreme correspond to the euP 2.0 Ready requirements, which guarantees the energy consumption of less than 0,5 W in the turned-off regime. In turn, the models p55 pro and P55M pro support original version standard, which ensures the energy consumption of less than 1 W with the same condition. In both cases, the corresponding power unit is necessary. All new motherboards allow great possibilities on overclock - both through the Bios (EZ OC) and through the customary operating system interface Windows (OC tuner). With the aid of OC DNA utility  , user can preserve its profiles and share them with its friends. The technology intelligent energy saver will help to decrease the energy computer consumption , changing the quantity of active phases in the dependence on the load level  , and the unique aSRock development - Instant boot,  will ensure Windows load in a few seconds. The recommended prices of aSRock p55 deluxe, P55 extreme, P55 pro and P55M pro are equal to $199, $166, $142 and $130, respectively. Related Products :
