Gigabyte specialists developed nine systems for Intel platform on base of the new chipset. The list of P55 device includes two models standard size microATX - P55M-UD2 and P55M-UD4. Rest seven motherboards - P55-UD6, P55-UD5, P55-UD4, P55-UD3P, P55-UD3R, P55-UD3 and P55-US3L - have a standard size ATX. All nine motherboards are calculated for LGA 1156 processors. The special features of all those device include the application of copper layers for power and grounding with the increased thickness, and the technologies of energy-economy DES2 (Dynamic energy saver).

All models support the technology ATI crossFire, and the model P55-UD6, P55-UD5, P55-UD4 and P55M-UD4 - support the technology NVIDIA SLI. Elder two models have two adapters gigabit ethernet and 12 ports SATA. In the equipment of P55-UD4, P55-UD3P, P55-UD3R enters 10 ports SATA, iP55-US3L has six ports , remaining motherboard have eight ports SATA. Both motherboards standard size microATX, and also P55-UD6, P55-UD5 and P55-UD4 support fireWire. Gigabyte decided to envelop a maximally possible of buyers - the young model, P55M-UD2 cost 96 Euros, and the high end model , P55-UD6 - 220 Euros.
