company Intel has decided to not leave without answer the reduction of prices on Sempron processors up to $47-56 for younger models, and to offer products with even lower cost . Intel has decided to revive processors Celeron D recently subjected to reduction 315 (2.26 GHz, Socket 478) and Celeron D 326 (2.53 GHz, LGA 775):
The first represents younger model for Socket 478, till recent times issued was on stepping G1 core Prescott. Approximately in the beginning of July Intel has decided to begin the program on removal from manufacture of processor Celeron D 315 , from the price-list of the company it has disappeared much earlier. This month the revived processor can please buyers by the price of $34.
As the Celeron D 315 is cheaper than the Sempron 2800 + ($47), additional cheap models Celeron D to represent there is not required.
this processor has been removed from Intel road map only in April of current year. the younger model with LGA 775 socket is presented by the Celeron D 326 (2.53 GHz). The processor supports technologies EM64T and EBD (NX-bats) that can be useful to the users maintaining modern operational systems. Now cost of Celeron D 326 is set to $39.
