BIOSTAR company released a motherboards designed for AMD processors AM3. Following the models A780L3G and A870 , released in the current month, the company expanded the range with BIOSTAR TA870 +. BIOSTAR TA870 + motherboard is made in standard size ATX (305 x 205 mm) : chipset AMD870 + SB850. It supports 32-bit bus with HyperTransport 3.0 bandwidth up to 5.2 GT / s, technology, Cool'n'Quiet Technology, and all series AMD AM3, including Phenom II X6, Phenom II X4, Phenom II X3, Phenom II X2, Athlon II X4, Athlon II X3, Athlon II X2 and Sempron. BIOSTAR TA870 + is designed for any multi-core processor AMD AM3, including the six-core model with TDP up to 140W. Power Design - five-phase. In the scheme are used solid capacitors. The motherboard has four slots for DIMM memory , which supports up to 16GB of DDR3-800, DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333 or DDR3-1800, two slots PCI-E x16 2.0 (x16 + x4), the PCI- E x1 2.0 slots and two PCI. Also there are ports SATA 6 Gb / s (five pieces) support for RAID 0,1,5,10; eSATA2 3Gb / s, IEEE 1394a (FireWire), USB 2.0 (nine pieces), IDE and Gigabit Ethernet.
