Jon Peddie Research analysts Agency summarized the activities of graphics companies in the first quarter 2012. The results show that the market volume declined by 0.8%, but experts, however, call them positive: the decline is typical for this season and over the past ten years, the average measured value was 3.1%. The study took into account the graphical solutions for desktop, mobile computers and embedded systems, while the products are designed for servers, smartphones, tablets and other handheld devices in the overall statistics are not taken into account.
It is noted that Intel still owns more than half of GPU market , second place is for AMD, which increased its share , NVIDIA completes in the top three.

JPD Experts based on fresh data corrected prediction on the total average annual growth rate of the market: in the period from 2011 to 2016 this figure will be 9.8%, the amount shipped in 2016 will reach 743 million GPU.
