BIOSTAR company announced the release of motherboard Hi-Fi Z77X, built on Intel chipset. The technology, as well as the newly introduced motherboard Hi-Fi A85X , refers to the high end line of PURO Hi-Fi.
The creators have paid full attention to the audio system board. To improve the sound quality developers offer a range of technologies: Hi-Fi Resistor (Resistance that use tin oxide), Cap Hi-Fi (high-quality capacitors in each audio channels), Hi-Fi Ground (multi-layer PCB design with the property protectors), MCC ( calibration of multichannel audio section), and Puro Tone - 110dB (signal / noise ratio of about -110 dB). They all serve one purpose - to improve the sound quality , issued by the eight-channel (7.1) audio codec Realtek ALC898.
As for Hi-Fi Z77X, then it is made on a printed circuit board and is characterized by black standard size ATX. The motherboard is compatible with Intel processors with the processor socket LGA1155 (Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge) and TDP 95 watts, and its power system is composed of 13 phases.
BIOSTAR Hi-Fi Z77X has four slots for RAM (maximum RAM - 32 GB), dual-slot PCI Express 3.0 x16 (x8, x8) and one PCI Express 2.0 x16 (x4), as well as three PCI Express 2.0 x1. There is also two SATA 6 Gb / s and four SATA 3 Gb / s.
