Logic Instrument a well-known manufacturer of protected computers with different form factors - released the Tablet PC Fieldbook A2. New product will work on Intel Cedar Trail platform and runs on Microsoft Windows 7 Professional.
Company has a dual-core processor Intel Atom N2600, operating at 1.6 GHz up to 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and a solid state drive capacity of 64 GB. For Extra-cost the device can be equipped with a 128GB SSD. Fieldbook A2 has a wireless module Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, and work through the adapter Gigabit Ethernet.
The display of Fieldbook A2 is characterized by 7-inch and a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is protected by tempered glass, equipped with LED lights and special stealth mode.
Fieldbook A2 configuration includes satellite receiver GPS / Galileo, a slot for memory cards SD, accelerometer, gyroscope and digital compass, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, a connector for a docking station and accessories. The device can be equipped with tablet RFID-reader, barcode scanner, hardware encryption module TPM 1.2.
Size and weight of Logic Instrument Fieldbook A2 are 230 x 150 x 44,8 mm and 1.6 kg. The unit meets the military standard MIL-STD-810G and rated IP65.
