Microsoft has launched a new subsidy program for notebook manufacturers.  According to the new report DigiTimes Research, they will be able to issue laptops to Windows 8.1, save on license OS. It is reported that applications for participation in the new program will be accepted until the end of June and laptops on Windows 8.1, released in its framework, will be sold at retail in the second half of 2015, despite the fact that Windows 10 will  be already available to manufacturers and users.   final release, we recall, is expected next summer.  DigiTimes analysts believe that the new subsidies for producers  help to increase sales of consumer laptops that remain weak in the second half of 2014.
