Let us recall that nForce 790i SLI chipset will propose not only Ddr-3 and 3 way SLI support, but also PCI Express 2.0.

Today appeared the photograph of EVGA motherboard based on chipset nForce 790i SLI.

Officially this motherboard supports 45 nm Intel processors with 1333 MHz bus , although theoretically it can work with 1600 MHz bus . Four slots DIMM support up to 8 Gb memory Ddr3-1333. The PCI Express x16 slots correspond to PCI Express 2.0 specifications, and they ensure the support of 3-.way SLI. The level of heat emission in nForce 790i SLI already exceed its predecessor.

Motherboard on base of this chipset will be released in January or in the start of February . So in local store u could expect it in the end of February or in the start of march

I was going to buy the 780i,but after reading up.I might as well just wait.Only thing I don\'t like is the fact that the 790i only supports expensive DDR3.I wish it would support both DDR2 and 3.
