We already talked about the characteristics of NVIDIA chipset nForce 790i SLI . They will ensure support to PCI Express 2.0 interface (only two slots from three), and they will also bring the Ddr-3 support for NVIDIA chipset , which support Intel processors . Motherboards on base of these chipset can work with 45 nm processors, which support 1600 MHz bus. Due to the use of EPP2 expansions , nForce 790i Ultra SLI chipset will ensure support to Ddr3-2000 memory . it also promises to have higher overclocking potential.

Associates reported new details about the characteristics of NVIDIA chipset series nForce 790i SLI. Such chipset will be able to overclock processors up to 600 MHz on the system bus. Two slots PCI Express x16 versions 2.0, which communicate through the north bridge. Furthermore, this chipset will be able to send the same data packet to all graphic processors. EPP Expansions, which automatically overclock memory due to the preserved SPD profiles, will be released in second revision chipset .

The new motherboard will be oriented to super-enthusiasts. The recommended price will not be less than $350.
