We are already familiar with the appearance and basic functional possibilities of nForce 790i SLI chipset - this product will support 45 nm Intel processors , Ddr-3 memory and 3-way SLI technology . Associate note that Nvidia chipset look similar to Intel X38 and X48 since there is a chipset version nForce 790i SLI and a selected version nForce 790i Ultra SLI characterized by the improved overclocking potential. If we considers that the prime cost of one chipset nForce 790i Ultra SLI has additional $100, then motherboards on its base will be for sure not cheaper than $300-400. This chipset will ensure the support of EPP2 technology , which is gradual expansion of EPP in the version for Ddr-3 memory. |
