Microsoft is developing a flagship smartphone Surface. According to rumors, it will be executed in the style of Surface tablets and based on Intel processor .
But, apparently, Microsoft plans next year to release the number of champions, not just Surface Phone. According to the site Nokia Power User, the company is now testing a prototype Lumia smartphones based on the Snapdragon processor 820 that Qualcomm has only recently begun to deliver to developers. These smartphones will become flagship Lumia 2016.
Most likely, the company will release a flagship in two versions, as it was this year because of rumors, at least two Lumia smartphones with the new processors are now in the testing. However, it is expected that they will be released no earlier than the third quarter of 2016.
In its newest flagship smartphone Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, Microsoft has pioneered the use of the cooling system with heat pipes for better heat dissipation. It is expected that next year the company will use a similar system for cooling Snapdragon 820.
Snapdragon processor 820 will receive a 64-bit processor cores Kryo. Processor produced by an advanced 14-nanometer process technology. Adreno graphics processor 530 in the system will be 40% faster than Adreno 430, which is used in Snapdragon 810.
