Bethesda Softworks and id Software Companies published system requirements to be met by the computer player, who wants to try a closed beta of DOOM.
So there you go, the minimum requirements (720p resolution) for a closed beta:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 or better / AMD FX-8320 or better;
- 8 GB of RAM;
- graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or better / AMD Radeon HD 7870 or better;
- 22 GB of free space on the drive;
- 64-bit operating system Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10;
- the presence of Steam account .
Recommended system requirements (for 1080p resolution):
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 or better / AMD FX-8350 or better;
- 8 GB of RAM;
- graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or better / AMD Radeon R9 290 or better;
- 22 GB of free space on the drive;
- 64-bit operating system Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10;
- the presence of Steam account .
For comparison, the alpha version of DOOM at the time required a little less productive video card, as well as much less space on your drive. The rest of the requirements have not changed.
Recall that in the closed beta test is open to only those who at one time pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order and received a special invitation to the beta DOOM. Self test will be held from 1 to 4 April.
