Transmeta company , in recent years specializes in obtaining profit from copyrights realization to its own inventions. But recently Transmeta was able to fix business under new conditions. After restructuring and personnel reductions  it would be possible to think about sale to one of its strategic investors, and AMD last summer purchased a block of transmeta shares  , which corresponds to 5%. With this amount AMD will obtain access to the company developments without any juridical procedures :-). This week transmeta company officially stated about its intentions to find a strategic buyer. With time transmeta hopes to increase the company profitableness for shareholders, and the administration of company will select the best candidate . In this year transmeta will obtain $296 mln. in the form of license payments and deductions. Transmeta company  recently concluded two agreements: one new and one additional. The latter allow Intel to obtain nonsingular rights to all inventions, patented by transmeta in the period until 31 December, 2017. In this case intel must yearly pay $20 mln for five years in the period from 2009 through 2013, but Intel decied to accelerate this process and Paid this year $91,5 mln . Related Products :
