We already reported that Kingston company decided to begin the sale of Intel SSD under its own logotype.
In CES 2009 this company presented the solid-state discs SSDNow, which proved to be the clones of Intel X25- M and Intel X25- E in 2.5 inches form factor with SATA-300 interface. Thus Kingston released only two models: with 80 GB volume in the series M and with 32 GB volume in the high performance E series .

The SSD series E use SLC memory and ensure the data transmission speed 250/170 Mb/s ( read/write ). The M series is satisfied by slower MLC memory , ensuring the data transmission speed 250/70 Mb/s .

All SSDNow discs are coupled with three year guarantee from Kingston and twenty-four hour technical support . The prices of Kingston SSD lies in the range $762-839, although Intel X25- M with 80 GB volume, for example, in American retail can be purchased for $499.
