Gigabyte company already proposes motherboard with the reserve BIOS microcircuit, but this function remained as privilege of the more expensive models . Precisely, the dual Bios promised to protect the owners of Phenom II X2 from AMD ( blocking the activation of all four physical cores on these processors ). Later AMD explained that it has nothing against similar transformations.
Associate reports that gigabyte company recently began to install dual Bios on all its motherboard models , including cheapest products. Producer hopes that similar measures will allow it to increase its market portion.  As report associate , Gigabyte does not lose the hope to sell in 2009 20 mln motherboards . Related Products : | ||
