Intel solid-state disk : Intel series X25- M possesses the attractive combination of price and speed, the overall devices prices level does not contribute to an increase in their popularity . Realizing this, Intel decided to release cheaper SSD series X25- X. For comparison, the series Intel X25- M has higher speed indices : 250 mb/s and 70 mb/s respectively. The series Intel X25- X will be characterized by the modest energy consumption: 90 mW under load and 75 mW at rest, whereas X25- M demonstrates indices, equal to 150 mW and 75 mW, respectively. Series Intel X25- X will be released in standard size 2.5 , the capacity of the first model will be limited to 40 Gb, but retail price will not exceed $160. | ||
