Negotiations of Intel and AMD reached an agreement the last company obtained from the processor giant $1,25 billion, which initially the company had to spend on coating all expenditures, connected with the curtailment of anti monopolistic investigation . However, it was explained that a part of the obtained from Intel means will be spent on liquidation of existing debts. According to the estimations of experts, these steps will allow AMD to remove fourth of their debt before creditors, whose sum reaches $3,7 billion.
Associate reports that AMD decided to restore the level of its top managers, which was decreased during crisis. In particular, general director Dirk Meyer will obtain $900 000 instead of $720 000, operating director Robert Rivet will obtain an increase from $552 000 to $650 000, and Tom mcCoy will get $544 000 instead of the previous $462 400.
