Crucial company sell solid-state disk with a SATA-600 interface for less than $200. It was clear that to the segment of solid-state disk high-speed controllers are not sufficient. When on the market appeared sandForce controllers, each producer considered necessary to release SSD on their base.
In the present half-year controllers with SATA-600 support will present by indilinx and SandForce company.  On this week, the solid-state disk crucial with SATA-600 interface and 64 Gb volume was noted in Japanese stores on the price from $165.  SSD on base of MLC memory has the form factor 2.5", ensures the transfer speed 355 Mbyte(s)/s and 70 Mbyte(s)/s on reading and writing operations respectively.
