The processors Intel generations ivy bridge will become the 22 nm successors of sandy bridge. The announcement will take place in the first half of 2012, and also the compatibility of built-in graphic core with DirectX 11 will be ensured. It is assumed also that the associated chipset  series panther point will bring the native support of USB 3.0 interface for intel platform  . Associates explained that 22 nm processors ivy bridge will preserve the design concept LGA 1155, but new motherboards for them will be required. In essence, the compatibility with LGA 1155 is provided predominantly for convenience of motherboard producers. Possibly, motherboards on the base of chipset panther point can work, also, with 32 nm processors generation sandy bridge.
