Danish enthusiast riska overclocked the Core i7-3770K processor to 7.07 GHz using liquid nitrogen, to take third place in SuperPI 1M with a score of 5.094 seconds.
This result corresponds to the third place not only among the Core i7-3770K, but also in absolute standings. Up to 7068 MHz frequency processor got only one active core. The voltage on the core, according to the snapshot CPU-Z screen, too, was frighteningly high.
