ASUS has officially announced the Tablet PC Eee Pad Slider.  Initially, the device will be running the operating system Google Android 3.1, but in the future it will receive an upgrade to  3.2 version.  ASUS Eee Pad Slider will be able to offer users a 10.1-inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels, dual-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 2, up to 32 GB of internal memory, dual cameras, wireless adapters, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, port mini-HDMI, USB, and slot memory cards microSD.  From a large number of tablets with similar characteristics Eee Pad Slider is characterized by the presence of sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The tablet will be available in late August at a price of € 499 for the model with 32 GB of internal memory. Â For some reasons, ASUS decided to stop the release of version with 16 GB and a version equipped with a module access to cellular networks 3G, will be available no earlier than the first quarter 2012.
