Shenzhen Ramos Digital Technology, released a new Tablet PC called Ramos W17 Pro. The device is based on the recently announced single-chip system, the Chinese AMLogic AML8726-MX, which includes dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 frequency of 1.5 GHz and a graphics accelerator, Mali-400, clocked at 400 MHz. Curiously, according to SoC creators , it works faster than analogues such as Apple A5x, NVIDIA Tegra 2 and TI OMAP 4460.
Returning to the tablet: the equipment of Ramos W17 Pro includes 1 GB DDR3 RAM and 16 GB integrated flash memory. Seven-inch tablet screen is made of IPS technology , supports recognition up to five simultaneous touches and is characterized by a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
The list of Ramos W17 Pro characteristics include two 0.3 megapixel camera (front) and 2 M (main), wireless adapter Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n (3G is supported through an external module,), and interface connectors are USB 2.0, Mini USB 2.0 and HDMI. The device is operated by the pre-installed Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Overall dimensions are - 250 x 191 x 11 mm, weight - 520 grams. The tablet comes with built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery capacity 5000 mAh, which allows to work out off-line for 4-5 hours. Price of Ramos W17 Pro in the Chinese online store is $ 199, which is quite acceptable for device with the stated characteristics.
