The Japanese company Plextor, started selling its new 2.5-inch thin (thickness of only 7 mm) SSD-drive Ninja-256. The device will be available only in 256-GB version . The drive uses a 34-nm chip MLC NAND flash memory controller is based on Marvell 88SS9174, has 512 MB of cache memory, interface SATA 6.0 Gbps and support TRIM. Read speed up to 530 MB / s and write 370 MB / s , when reading random blocks of 4 KB index of IOPS (input / output operations per second) can reach 73,000, while recording - 71,000 IOPS. Cost is $ 336. | ||
