We often reported that the new generation of video cards will gain the support of DisplayPort interface . This version has two ports and a traditional DVI-D DisplayPort.  Each port can be connected to DisplayPort , up to four monitors through a thin cable, HDMI or USB.  Consequently, video card with two DisplayPort ports can connect up to eight monitors with this interface type . DisplayPort was originally developed as an interface for connecting computer monitors.  As HDMI, this interface can process 8-channel 24-bit sound. Furthermore, this cable can transmit sound with a microphone, connected to a monitor. The first video card with DisplayPort support should appear in next year.
