In February this year biTMICRO company reported about the gigantic in volume solid-state disk e-Disk Altima E3S320, whose capacity reached 1,6 TB. Now this company plans to increase the SSD- devices capacitance with several times. On SIGGRAPH exhibition ( in Los Angeles ) BiTMICRO representative reported about their last development in this region - the device, capable of accomplishing up to 55 thousand in/out operations per second and speed at the level of 230 MB/s. Here, let us recall that, Texas memory system presented its development on base of SSD, which is the RAID- regime , whose total capacity is equal to the impressive 64 TB. However, in this case biTMICRO disk was not as capacious as entire disk, but it is sufficiently large . | ||
