In the beginning of September Intel company presented the solid-state memory  series X25- M, built with MLC technology , and it promised to begin the deliveries of SSD series X25- E during 90 days. This device will use the technology SLC, which ensures the higher data transmission speed . Yesterday intel company officially stated about the beginning of deliveries :  SSD series X25- E, which were built on 50 nm memory microcircuits  , which use SLC technology  . The devices standard size 2.5 inches have a serial ATA interface  , and they are intended for  servers, work stations and data storage systems . Of course nothing prevent from using those devices in another application, but the question here is the relationship of price and attainable effect : the cost of X25- E with 32 Gb volume is equal to $695. SSD X25- E ensures the reading speed 250 mb/s, and up to 170 mb/s writing. The model X25- E with 64 Gb volume will be supplied in the form of engineering models in the current block.
